I’m always researching to learn more about DevOps and various tools. I came across a publication that caught my eye from ServiceNow “Why DevOps needs ServiceNow Cloud Provisioning and Governance”.

I believe I read it months ago, but it came back up in my research. So I looked more closely into the publication and really enjoyed learning more about ServiceNow.

I always wondered if there was a better way to deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) to take into account governance or role-based-access-controls (RBACs) for large organizations.

So it was great learning about ServiceNow’s Cloud Provisioning and Governance (CPG) service.

Integrating CPG into any pipeline and releasing to any cloud provider truly makes it a seamless solution. Since I have also been learning about hybrid engineering, I especially like that CPG and Terraform allow companies deploy multi-vendor cloud infrastructure.

I look forward to learning more about CPG and getting some hands on experience with it soon. I’ll create another post when I do.

Actually, the training materials I have from ServiceNow is confidential. So unfortunately I will not be able to share much about my hands-on training with ServiceNow. I’ll try to find a non-confidential version to share soon.
