How I’m studying for my certs?

As I mentioned in my last post the first IT industry cert I’m preparing to take is the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) Exam.

The way that I’m studying for it is by taking Microsoft’s official Learn Modules. I’m really enjoying working through these modules. They are broken down into nice short sections and include many opportunities to get hand-on experience by following along with examples in Azure Cloud.

Overview of the Microsoft Learn Modules for AZ-104

I’m working through the following Learning Paths:

  • AZ-104: Prerequisites for Azure administrators
  • AZ-104: Manage identities and governance in Azure
  • AZ-104: Implement and manage storage in Azure
  • AZ-104: Deploy and manage Azure compute resources
  • AZ-104: Configure and manage virtual networks for Azure administrators
  • AZ-104: Monitor and back up Azure resources

After I finish this learning path and get my hand-on training finished. I’ll start taking practice exams on-line.

I also plan to make online flashcards to help me remember important terms for the exam.

Here’s a really neat custom feature we added – galleries:

Here’s another gallery with only one column, which creates a carousel slide-show instead.
